This is the text of the play that includes the original third act and also makes other cuts and changes in order to expose the work's core poetical structure and ethical argument. The book includes a series of original illustrations by the Canadian artist Virgil Burnett and an Afterword by Professor McGann explaining briefly the rationale of the work.
