The Byron Society of America announces the establishment of an annual prize for an outstanding essay on Lord Byron that has been published in the previous year by a North American scholar. The winning essay will be chosen by the Prize Committee, which is drawn from the Board of Directors of the BSA.
The prize, which includes an honorarium and a complimentary membership in the BSA, will be awarded at the Leslie A. Marchand lecture which takes place this year at the DePaul University Humanities Center in October.
